This Oak Platter has some very attractive figuring.
The Oak tree came from Kinsale, Co. Cork.
I usually leave sycamore logs lie for 1 to 2 years before working on them.
This makes the color of the wood more interesting.
This tree came from Passage West, Co. Cork.

This Beech Tree grew in Ballinadee, near Bandon in west Cork.
I rarely come accross Beech trees with such spectacular Burrs.
