Spalted Beech Platter

This Oak Platter has some very attractive figuring.
The Oak tree came from Kinsale, Co. Cork.
I usually leave sycamore logs lie for 1 to 2 years before working on them.
This makes the color of the wood more interesting.
This tree came from Passage West, Co. Cork.

All of these pieces are sold . If  however you are interested in purchasing any of my work or would like further information please do not hesitate to contact me.

This  Beech Tree grew in Ballinadee, near Bandon in west Cork.
I rarely come accross Beech trees with such spectacular Burrs.
